Small-scaled fishing in Makraan coasts, is an important source for employment, income, and nourishment for the coastal villages; the characteristics and effects of which, not being well reviewed. The purpose of this study is to determine the role and impact of fishing on different indices of social and economic development of resident families in the regional rural areas. <br /><strong>METHODOLOGY</strong>: This research is descriptive-analytical and survey-based; in which, for collecting data, we have benefited from library and field research (observing, interview and questionnaire). The statistical population of the study consisted of fishermen living in coastal villages of Jask county, among which, a sample of 350 fishermen were randomly selected, and studied using interview and questionnaire. Cronbach's alpha for the economic indices was 0.71, and for social indices was 0.78 and 0.83, indicating the acceptable reliability of the questionnaire. To analyze the gathered data in SPSS software, we used the two descriptive and inferential statistical methods. <br /><strong>RESULTS</strong>: The results of the research showed that, from the viewpoint of fishermen living in rural areas of the region, in general, the role of fishing activities in the indicators of social and economic development, were positive, significant and different. <br /><strong>ORIGINALITY AND VALUE</strong>: Attention to the activities of fishermen as a vulnerable and less-known social stratum, is considered as innovation and strength point of this article. Results of this research are important for future research, planning, policy, management, conservation and sustainability of small-scale fishing activities. <strong>مقدمه و هدف:</strong> بسیاری از ساکنان روستاهای ساحلی به فعالیت‌های ماهیگیری مشغول‌اند. ماهیگیری کوچک‌مقیاس در سواحل مکران، منبع مهم اشتغال، درآمد و تغذیه برای روستاهای ساحلی است که ویژگی‌ها و آثار آن به‌خوبی بررسی نشده است. هدف پژوهش، شناخت میزان تأثیرگذاری فعالیت‌های ماهیگیری بر شاخص‌های مختلف توسعة اجتماعی و اقتصادی خانوارهای ساکن در روستاهای منطقه است.<br /> <strong>روش:</strong> پژوهش حاضر از نوع توصیفی - تحلیلی و مبتنی بر پیمایش است که در آن برای گردآوری داده‌ها از دو روش بررسی‌های اسنادی و پژوهش‌های میدانی (مشاهده، مصاحبه و پرسش‌نامه) استفاده شده است. جامعة آماری پژوهش شامل ماهیگیران ساکن در روستاهای ساحلی شهرستان جاسک است که از میان آنها نمونه‌ای مرکب از 350 ماهیگیر به روش تصادفی انتخاب شد و با بهره‌گیری از انجام مصاحبه و تکمیل پرسش‌نامه مطالعه شدند. آلفای کرونباخ برای گویه‌های اقتصادی 71/0 و برای گویه‌های اجتماعی 78/0 به دست آمد که حاکی از پایایی پذیرفتة پرسش‌نامه است. برای تحلیل داده‌های گردآوری‌شده با نرم‌افزار SPSS، دو روش آماری توصیفی و استنباطی به کار رفته است.<br /> <strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> نتایج پژوهش نشان می‌دهد از دیدگاه ماهیگیران ساکن در نقاط روستایی منطقه به‌طورکلی نقش فعالیت‌های ماهیگیری در شاخص‌های توسعة اجتماعی و اقتصادی چشمگیر، متفاوت و مثبت ارزیابی می‌شود.<br /> <strong>اصالت و ارزش:</strong> توجه به فعالیت‌های ماهیگیران به‌منزلة قشری آسیب‌پذیر و کمتر شناخته‌شده، نوآوری و امتیاز مقاله است. نتایج به‌دست‌آمده از پژوهش برای انجام پژوهش‌های آینده، برنامه‌ریزی، سیاست‌گذاری، مدیریت، حفاظت و پایداری ماهیگیری کوچک‌مقیاس مهم است. https://sppl.ui.ac.ir/article_23572_17adc3a1afc38d8da018267b1d8cecc5.pdf
